Save the date: new ESOG course 2019

As chairpersons of the new course organized by the European School of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ESOG), Professor Michelle Nisolle and Professor Caterina Exacoustos are very pleased to invite you to participate in this high-quality class dedicated to “the role of imaging in common uterine and adnexal pathologies”.

This course will provide to the participant the basic information on the clinical and surgical applications of the actual 2D-3D transvaginal ultrasound (TVS) and MRI to adequately manage the most frequent gynecologic pathologies.

The participants will learn how to evaluate by TVS intrauterine pathology and how to best visualize uterine fibroids, distinguish them from adenomyosis and subsequent treatment.

Great emphasis will be given to learn how to assess ovarian pathology, functional versus pathologic cyst, benign versus malignant tumors and how ultrasound findings can best prepare the gynecologic surgeons for a more complete surgery.

The course, being held in Paris on 28/29 November 2019, will allow a full exploration of these topics to a limited number of participants.
